About Beardwood Hospital
With over 170 consultants choosing to practice from Beardwood Hospital, they offer a wide range of services, include orthopaedic surgery, dermatology, general surgery, neurosurgery and gynaecology procedures. Their Clinical Support Services include radiology, physiotherapy and pharmacy. The outpatient consulting suite has seven consulting rooms, with a flexible appointment system to accommodate the needs of the patient and consultants. In addition, two treatment rooms are used for minor operative procedures, wound care clinics and nurse-led clinics. The hospital also has a wide bore MRI scanner, CT scanner, three operating theatres equipped with a laminar flow system and a minor operating suite.
Beardwood hospital has eighteen bedrooms, all offering the privacy and comfort of en-suite facilities, free wifi and satellite TV. The hospital also has a six-bedded day-case suite. The new suite was developed in line with modern healthcare needs, whereby techniques have improved so much that people who might have otherwise needed an overnight stay after their operation can now return home the same day.
Beardwood Hospital also has a resident medical officer (RMO) who is available 24 hours a day to ensure that patients are safe and cared for at all times. Should your care needs change following surgery or treatment, transfer to another hospital may be required. This will either be to an NHS or another Circle Health Group hospital. Transfers of care only take place when absolutely necessary.

At Beardwood Hospital, they offer flexible payment plans that can help you to spread the cost of your private treatment. If you don't want to pay all at once, you can split the price into more manageable monthly instalments. They do this via loans, which they offer in partnership with Chrysalis Finance. You can spread the cost of treatment across a period to suit you, from 10 months to five years, with interest-free credit for the first 10 months.
