The hospital hosts four theatres with an Extended Recovery Area. These facilities, combined with the latest techniques and on-site support services, allows their consultants to offer a wide range of procedures ranging from routine investigations to complex surgery. All of the consultant body is supported by professional and caring medical teams, alongside dedicated nursing teams, with the hospital's resident doctor on hand 24hrs a day.

At Highfield Hospital, they like to ensure that all of their patients are made to feel welcome, comfortable and kept well informed throughout their stay. They provide their patients with a range of nutritious menus which are designed to provide a great choice. Should you require a special diet, the hospital's head chef will be more than happy to discuss this with you personally. Visiting hours are flexible, however, visitors are usually asked to leave the site by 10pm, in order not to disturb patient recovery. The hospital also encourages visitors to try and avoid meal times where possible.

Ways to pay

Highfield Hospital welcomes both patients with private medical insurance and those who choose to self-fund their treatment.

Self paying patients

At Highfield Hospital, they offer flexible payment plans that can help you to spread the cost of your private treatment. If you don't want to pay all at once, you can split the price into more manageable monthly instalments. They do this via loans, which they offer in partnership with Chrysalis Finance. You can spread the cost of treatment across a period to suit you, from 10 months to five years, with interest-free credit for the first 10 months.

Insured patients

If you have private medical insurance, rest assured that Highfield Hospital collaborates with all major private medical insurers. Be sure to contact your insurer for pre-authorisation before scheduling an appointment.
