Their outpatient consulting suite has six consulting rooms and operates a flexible appointment system to accommodate the needs of our patients and consultants. They also have two treatment rooms, used for minor operative procedures, wound care and nurse led clinics. The hospital has one operating theatre equipped with a laminar flow system, a minor operating unit and an endoscopy suite. These facilities combined with the latest in technology and on-site support services such as physiotherapy and an on-site pharmacy, enable their consultants to undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery. Lancaster Hospital has 25 beds, with all rooms offering the privacy and comfort of en-suite facilities, free wifi and satelite TV. They also have a resident medical officer (RMO) who is available 24 hours a day to ensure that patients are safe and cared for at all times. Should your care needs change following surgery or treatment, the decision may be made to transfer you to another hospital. This will either be to an NHS or another Circle Health Group hospital. Transfers of care only take place when absolutely necessary.
