The Orders of St John Care Trust are the second largest not for profit elderly care provider in the UK. Their core work is the provision of high quality care for older people in care homes.
The Trust is sponsored by the Sovereign Order of Malta and The Venerable Order of St John of Jerusalem, which between them bring a combined total of over 1,000 years of experience in care, relief and service. These Orders today provide the Trustees for The Orders of St John Care Trust.
The 75 nursing and residential care homes are located in Lincolnshire (16), Wiltshire (20), Oxfordshire (18) and Gloucestershire (21). They specialise in the provision of long term care – residential, nursing or for those suffering from dementia. The Orders of St John Care Trust also provide day care facilities, intermediate, rehabilitation and respite care.
All services are provided for older people of any background, irrespective of race or religion, and the Trust believes that it is the right of all older people living in their homes to be given care, both material and spiritual, which suits their individual needs.
For further details of the homes, the services offered and more detailed background information, please refer to The Orders of St John Care Trust website or contact one of the County offices direct.
