Dr Kuljeet Mehta MRD(Perio.) RCSEd
Kuljeet is registered with the General Dental Council as a specialist in periodontics. His goal is to provide you with gentle, state-of-the-art periodontal therapy in a comfortable, safe, and caring environment. Kuljeet uses the most up-to-date methods to ensure you get the best possible treatment and advanced cosmetic procedures to enhance your smile.
On your first visit you will receive a complete examination by Dr Mehta. Following this, Dr Mehta will discuss any findings and all treatment options available to you. Your dental health, opinions and concerns are Dr Mehta’s number one priority, which is why he wants you to be completely informed of your choices before proceeding with care.
Kuljeet qualified in 1992 and since then has gained extensive experience in oral surgery working in several of the UK's leading hospitals. It was during this period that he passed the Fellowship in Dental Surgery examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FDS RCS).
In the period 2000-2003 he underwent his three years specialist training in periodontology at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Whitechapel, London. Kuljeet completed the newly created Master of Clinical Dentistry Degree in Periodontology and at the end of 2003 passed examinations to obtain The Diploma of Membership in Restorative Dentistry from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Kuljeet currently spends each Tuesday teaching the undergraduate students at King’s College Hospital Dental Institute, Department of Periodontology, Guy’s Campus.
With his extensive practical experience at the Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London, Kuljeet is in a unique position to offer patients the latest in proven clinical advances in periodontics.
