Farah Ahmad: Private GP in London

Training and experience

Dr Farah Ahmad qualified in medicine at Manchester Medical School in 2009. She then commenced surgical training before choosing to move into General Practice.

Dr Ahmad is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has additionally attained the Diploma of Sexual and Reproductive Health. With experience in all medical and surgical specialities, she has a particular interest in sports medicine, offering treatment for people across the ability range, from weekend warriors to Olympic athletes!

Private GP services

London General Practice provides access to flexible, personal care 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year. A consultation with a GP can usually be arranged the same day and house calls are available day or night. Prior registration with the Practice is not necessary.

GP appointments at The London General Practice can be made for any health concern and last at least 30 minutes. The comfortable consulting rooms on Harley Street are complemented by an excellent range of diagnostic and analytical facilities, including CT, MRI, cardiac testing and cancer screening, and most patients are able to have their diagnostic tests on the same day as their consultation.

Should any secondary or tertiary care be necessary, The London General Practice has unrivalled relationships with leading specialists and excellent links with world-renowned private hospitals. In the event of a referral to a consultant, the Practice provides a continuity of care, monitoring the patient's journey from initial diagnosis to successful treatment.
