Mr Eleftherios Karamalis graduated from the medical school of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1996 and went on to undertake mandatory year-long service both in the Greek Army Medical Department and as a working GP. He has a doctorate (PhD) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is an Honorary Clinical Fellow in Colorectal Surgery at UCH in London. He has been on the GMC specialist register for general surgery since 2011 and has worked as a Consultant General Surgeon at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Southampton since 2019.
