Mr Bhaskar Gupta is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Clinical Partner at Newmedica, one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist eyecare.

 

He specialises in the treatment of vitreoretinal disorders, cataract, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. He also has sub-specialty expertise in treating retinal conditions such as retinal detachment, macular hole, epiretinal membrane and vitreous floaters. Mr Gupta graduated in medicine from the B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India and was awarded a Gold Medal for his master’s degree in ophthalmology. He completed his specialist ophthalmology training in the South-West of England and undertook two years of sub-specialty training in vitreoretinal disorder at Royal Berkshire Hospital and University Hospital Southampton.
