Mr George Moussa is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Clinical Partner at Newmedica, one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist eyecare.
Mr Moussa graduated from Birmingham University and undertook his higher training in the West Midlands. He completed surgical retina fellowships at the Birmingham Midland Eye Centre and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. He specialises in complex cataracts, ocular trauma, lens implant problems and complex diabetic eye disease. His other interests include diseases of the retina and vitreous, retinal detachments and macular disorders. He has published over 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has received many awards for his research. In addition to his role with Newmedica, he is a consultant ophthalmologist at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
