Mr Michael Elvey is a Consultant Orthopaedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon practising at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital in St John’s Wood, London. A graduate of the Royal Free and University College London Medical School, Mr Elvey completed his specialty training in London, followed by subspecialty Fellowships at the Wrightington Upper Limb Unit and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and a travelling Observership at the Institute De La Main in Paris. He was awarded the Gold Medal for the highest performance in the British Postgraduate Hand Diploma examination in 2019. Mr Elvey’s NHS practice is based at University College London Hospital NHS Trust where he is involved in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery for both adults and children and oversees trainees. He is a regular contributor to the scientific literature, has received many research prizes and presents regularly at national and international scientific meetings.
