Paid privately for a knee replacement under the BMI Option package for fixed price surgery. Chose the Clementine because of the surgeon's reputation and expertise in knee replacement (Mr John Hollingdale), the quality of physiotherapy service and the low post operative infection rates. Also has a hydrotherapy pool on site. Nursing and physiotherapy staff were excellent. With a knee replacement, the quality of the physio is really important. Admin and financial side of the treatment was less impressive - poor communication and slow to respond to queries. My Ipod disappeared from my bedside during my stay, and I didn't even get an apology!
