The Royal Marsden is one of the largest comprehensive cancer centres in Europe, seeing and treating over 60,000 cancer patients each year.
Serving both UK and international patients, the Chelsea and Sutton hospital sites are equipped with state-of-the-art private wings, offering first-class care to both self-paying and private medically insured patients. Situated on Cavendish Square in the Harley Street medical area is the Diagnostic and Treatment Centre. Patients are also treated at the Medical Day Unit within Kingston Hospital, Surrey.

Royal Marsden Private Care offers a comprehensive range of cancer scans and investigations including CT, MRI, PET scan, contrast enhanced spiral CT, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), CT colonograpy and bone scan.
The Royal Marsden Private Care offers a calming environment for patients attending both outpatient appointments and inpatient stays in one of the many private rooms across the various wards.

There are many ways for patients to pay for treatment at The Royal Marsden, including self-pay options, using private medical insurance, or sponsorship. All patients seeking private cancer treatment at The Royal Marsden, whether insured or self-funding require a referral from a GP or specialist.
The Royal Marsden welcomes patients who wish to fund their own treatment. An estimate of costs can be obtained directly from the hospital’s Private Care Accounts Office. Deposits are required in advance of any treatment and any consultations and treatments will start after all funds have been cleared.
Patients with private medical insurance are advised to contact The Royal Marsden initially to confirm that the insurer is recognised, and then check with their insurer that cover is sufficient to pay for all consultations and treatment. The Private Care Accounts Office is happy to help with any insurance queries.
