The process was explained fully beforehand and was carried out under local anaesthetic.



I would not hesitate to use this service if needed in the future and would recommend the Veincentre to anyone else with similar problems.

Follow up foam injections again are straightforward and not painful. Results look promising so far but too early to assess full result.

Felt more uncomfortable giving full credit card details over the phone in a general reception area. This is an area that needs some attention by the vein centre.

I have lived with varicose veins for a considerable number of years,which were becoming worse over time.my legs were beginning to cause me some discomfort.

After some research I came across the Viencentre and reading the reviews decided to take action,I’m so glad I did.

Having first Bilateral Laser treatment which has already shown signs of improvement,and the discomfort has already disappeared.

I have just had FOAM SCLEROTHERAPY on both legs,so it will be some time before I can say what the outcome will be. At present everything looks positive.

The attention I have received from DR Suzie Anthony and nurse Marie Piccover has been first class throughout the whole process.

I only wish I’d acted sooner.

the warm sensation of the laser and the stings from the

I’d put off having any treatment of my varicous veins for many years. Reaseaching treatments and hearing stories from older friends put me off. However as my veins became worse, ached and throbbed and the skin starting to stain, I decided to take action. The Vein Centre came out top in my internet search and review reading. There was a Centre only 40 minutes away so I took the plunge! The team were highly professional and put me at my ease straight away. This is something they are experts in. It was thoroughly explained and all the consultations,treatments were in the same room with the same two people. It felt very comfortable and familiar. The actual laser treatment was more uncomfortable than acutely painful but I followed the Doctors advice exactly, wore the stockings religiously for seven days and quickly got back to normal life. I had two follow up treatments of the foam therapy which was much less uncomfortable...really a series of little pricks. My last treatment was only yesterday. My veins are much improved and certainly don’t ache any more after excercise. I’m told that improvement will continue over the coming months. I’m really pleased with the outcome so far and would encourage anyone thinking about it to not delay action. I wish I’d done it sooner.

I'd already had both my legs done on the NHS so was reluctant to have to have them done again and pay! but I'd wished I'd had them done earlier. The treatment and results were brilliant. I was put at ease straight away and was made to feel like a "friend" rather than a patient. Suzie was incredibly patience and professional and put me at ease straight away. I was told there may not be immediate results but in my case there were. I had very little discomfort and had no need for pain relief . I needed foam injections on my follow up and had the same experience as the first. both Suzie and Marie were so kind, I can't wait to show my legs off on holiday!! I would have no hesitation to recommend the clinic.

I have had large swollen veins of the calf of one leg for may years and the past 18 months I developed a deteriorating itchy skin condition that required the application of ointments to reduce the discomfort. After a single 2 hour session of EVLA treatment, within 2 weeks my itchy skin condition started to subside and is now completely sorted after 3 months with the benefit hair re-growth now that my leg has a healthy blood supply. With the additional foam injection treatment, the size of my veins are reduced by at least 90%. Money well spent.

Impressed with the quality and comfort of the compression stockings.

I was warned of possible pain after the procedure which may require painkillers but I experienced only minimal discomfort from day 8-10 after the initial treatment.

I had what I considered to be very bad varicose veins in both legs . Unsightly . I had treatment for cosmetic reasons and not medical . Had been done previously 19 years ago on national health but no longer available. First treatment done in December and further visit in January. My legs are a 90% improvement with the assurance that this will continue over the coming months. Can't fault the service and personnel at Manchester. Cost was a big issue for me and I have to say that I am very pleased with the outcome. My brother in law had the same treatment elsewhere at greater cost with the same result . I will wait to see if there is any reoccurrence of the problem as there was before . I would recommend the Vein Centre to all considering this procedure.

For years I had suffered from discomfort in my legs. It all began in my early 20's with just one small lump by my calf. As time progressed more of these lumps started to appear which caused me embarrassment but little discomfort. I always remember, that when my 3 year was watching me play tennis, he referred to my lumps as bones in my legs......very observant!

It was only very recently that I decided to get something done about the aching and continual itching in both legs which drove me to distraction. I would also mention that all my toes felt numb when not standing. Quite worrying really.

Naturally, I researched the internet on treatment for Varicose veins. I chose the Veincentre at Chipping Norton as they concentrated purely on veins and having read previous patients comments I felt confident in making my initial appointment.

I was introduced to Dr Raman Oberoi who was an exceptionally calm, kind and knowledgeable consultant. The initial scans meant that I could have EVLA with Sclerotherapy, so my appointment was booked for November.

For sure I was a little apprehensive on arrival at this fabulous clinic, but Carol, Dr Oberoi's nurse made me very welcome.

The procedure caused me no concern, in fact, I felt no pain at all, only a small amount of discomfort. The procedure for both legs lasted just 2 hours.

On recovery I would say that the inside of my thighs have felt tight but paracetamol does the trick! After 5 days I am absolutely fine now having had my first bath! My legs feel so less heavy now, itchiness has gone and I now can feel my toes. Just look forward to playing tennis again in shorts rather than longs

I would say to anyone considering undergoing this procedure to have absolutely no qualms in approaching the Veincentre, in whichever region you live.

The medical staff were both reassuring and professional in their approach, delivering a high standard of individual care.

Throughout the treatment a full explanation of the procedure was offered, and time taken to ensure best possible comfort. I appreciated the opportunity to play some music, and would recommend this as a slight distraction.

The results are not immediate, and this is clearly identified during the initial consultation.

Although I retain some slight discolouration which I understand will fade in time, I am pleased with the results. The varicose areas have completely resolved allowing me to return to my shorter summer dresses.

I would recommend the clinic, and feel confident to return should their services be required in the future.

Do not mess around looking elsewhere for painful and unsightly varicose veins treatment,these guys are the best ,since my treatment which was quick and relatively painless carried out by highly trained and professional doctors . Everything was explained in depth before and during the procedure, which put me at ease. I had EVLA and foam sclerotherapy performed on both legs on the first visit and then more foam injections at the second visit. The whole process was painless and I'm so glad I had the treatment done and especially at the Oxfordshire clinic. I am very pleased I chose to have my veins treated at The Veincentre, Chipping Norton. The building is new and modern and there is plenty of parking. The staff were all very friendly and professional and I was put at ease. It is an excellent concept to pay for a package of treatment at an affordable price. The actual treatment was not painful and I returned to all my activities straight afterwards. The most important fact is that I am extremely pleased with the result and wish I had had it done earlier. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.
