Alliance Surgical launches private medical expense plans

Alliance Surgical has launched bespoke employee medical plans tailored for each individual company. The target is large and medium sized employers.

Alliance Surgical is part owned by a large group of surgeons and consultants, across a large range of specialities collaborating together to transform the way healthcare is delivered to our clients. They claim that their ability to case manage across every speciality puts them head and shoulders above every other medical plan provider.

They are not an insurance company and do not offer a uniform benefit schedule. After reviewing a prospective client’s existing plan and claiming patterns, medical experts present ways to improve upon the current provision and dramatically reduce claims costs.

They operate employee private medical expense plans under a self-insured healthcare trust arrangement, which allows far more flexibility in terms of the design of the plan. Employers can benefit from not having to pay Insurance Premium Tax, an immediate substantial saving on plan costs.

For clients that do not wish to assume 100% of the claims liability over the pre-agreed fund there is the option of stop loss insurance. Alliance Surgical have competitive arrangements in place with Lloyds of London that clients are able to adopt if they so desire

The cornerstone of Alliance Surgical is surgeons and consultants whose primary concern is the delivery of high quality care at the lowest possible cost to the client.

Alliance Surgical has 1200 consultants across 36 sub-specialisms.
