SWICA, one of the largest health and accident insurance companies in Switzerland, and DKV Globality, an international health insurance company focusing on expatriates, have signed a cooperation agreement.
SWICA, one of the largest health and accident insurance companies in Switzerland, and DKV Globality, an international health insurance company focusing on expatriates, have signed a cooperation agreement. The aim is to jointly market the international health insurance cover Globality CoGenio in the Swiss market and to provide a local continuation of insurance option in Switzerland. The joint approach closes a gap in corporate health and accident plans for global companies.
In the event of illness or accident, staff on temporary international assignments often have to fend for themselves or are inadequately insured. Also, there is some uncertainty as to whether they are eligible for previous plans on their return to Switzerland. By jointly marketing the international health insurance cover Globality CoGenio in the Swiss market, SWICA and DKV Globality provide corporate clients with integrated, worldwide insurance solutions.
In addition to comprehensive healthcare services, the insurance solution has a wide range of assistance services and other benefits, ensuring all-round protection and individual local support.
Globality CoGenio has been designed for international companies and organisations that send employees on temporary international assignments.
DKV Globality is a leading international health insurer with a special focus on expatriates. As a subsidiary of Munich Re, it offers the financial strength and security of one of the world’s leading reinsurers.
DKV has been quietly competing in the UK expatriate market for several months, ahead of a full launch here.
