Dr Grover shared how he has recognised an increase in the number of young professional women with alcohol related liver issues, following research identifying 112% increase in hospital admissions for liver disease caused by alcohol in the under thirties.
He says, “I see younger and younger people dying, and more women compared with ten or 15 years ago, in a very obvious trend. But we’re probably talking about women in their thirties and forties; I haven’t personally seen younger than that yet.”
