PatientChoice have administered Westfield’s Surgery Choices product since this was launched in 2007.

The move will see Westfield assume sole responsibility for the administration of Surgery Choices, which is an add-on module to Westfield’s corporate paid plan that covers policyholders for more than 60 surgical procedures normally classed by the NHS as non-urgent.

Jill Davies of Westfield Health says,” When Westfield launched Surgery Choices it was considered a bold move by the market and has been extremely well received. The acquisition of PatientChoice strengthens Westfield’s commitment to delivering innovative and relevant health cover."

PatientChoice products will soon be underwritten by Westfield.
