Gardens Neuro Centre in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire provides complex disability management and slow stream rehabilitation services for people over the age of 18 with complex neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease. Residents at Gardens Neuro Centre are cared for by a multidisciplinary team comprising experienced nurses and carers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and specialist consultants. The Centre’s location on the site of Ramsay Healthcare’s Rivers Hospital offers 24 hour access to a GP and easy referral to the hospital’s services through the NHS Choose & Book scheme, where necessary.

Although fully equipped with modern technology and equipment, the Centre is designed to be comfortable and homely with friendly, efficient staff and good food.
Using a multidisciplinary approach, Gardens Neuro Centre works to maximise the potential for people with physical, cognitive and/or communicative disabilities associated with a neurological condition. Their slow stream rehabilitation service is supported by a Consultant in rehabilitation medicine and includes goal setting, outcome measures, discharge planning and support.

Fees are charged on a weekly basis that includes the costs of accommodation, equipment, utility bills (excluding personal telephone calls), food and drink, laundry, cleaning, activities and general nursing care.
Additional fees are due for specialist and enhanced services and facilities, based on assessed needs and as agreed in advanced by the placement funder. Fees do not include the costs of personal goods and services such as toiletries, hairdressing, chiropody, dry cleaning, clothing and personal telephone calls from landlines and these are not covered by the NHS.
Signature of the Ramsay Neurological Services Statement of Terms and Conditions is required prior to admission.
Fees are payable monthly in advance by direct debit, standing order, cash or cheque.
