Owen Miller: Paediatric and Fetal Cardiology Consultant in London
Dr Owen Miller is a Paediatric and Fetal Cardiology Consultant based at Evelina London Children's Hospital London. His expertise covers the whole range of paediatric cardiology with a special interest in advanced cardiac imaging for the fetus and child. He also provides comprehensive diagnostic services such as cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography), ECG, ambulatory monitoring and exercise testing (including cardio-pulmonary exercise testing).
Training and Experience
Dr Miller trained at The Children’s Hospital in Sydney, the Kinderspital in Zurich, and at The Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London. He was first appointed as a Consultant in 1993 in Sydney and later appointed as a Consultant at Evelina London Children’s Hospital in 2005.
He has specialist qualifications in Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Intensive Care as well as General Paediatrics, with recognition by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Heath (UK).
He is currently the Associate Medical Director at Evelina London Children’s Hospital and the overall Clinical Director for the Congenital Heart Network. Dr Miller is also a patron of the charity ECHO, which supports children and young people with heart conditions.
An internationally recognised expert; Dr Owen Miller is the immediate past chair of the Imaging Working Group for the Association of European Paediatric Cardiology and is chair of the Certification Committee for congenital echocardiography for the European Society of Cardiology.

An experienced children’s heart consultant, Dr Miller works daily in clinical practice (fetal and paediatric cardiology), caring for both inpatients and outpatients, whilst still maintaining an internationally recognised research and education programme.
