Prior to seeing Mr Jennings I was under a local NHS hospital for a fractured shoulder and an extremely painful knee which I was told was not fractured. When it was still very painful 6 weeks after, I decided to see Mr Jennings privately.

Hip arthroscopy
The development of modern techniques and technology make it possible for Mr Jennings to examine the inside of the hip joint using a fibre optic camera (arthroscope). He is able to determine the source of any hip pain, such as damage to the cartilage, ligaments and bone and identify any structural or congenital deformity. This minimally invasive technique also allows Mr Jennings to perform a number of surgical procedures, including the repair of torn cartilage and the removal of loose pieces of bone, with quicker recovery times and less scarring for the patient.
Modern hip surgery
Improvements in surgical techniques and technology in recent years make hip replacement surgery one of the most effective surgeries performed in the UK today, enabling thousands of people to return to active lives. All artificial hips are now made from a combination of light weight biocompatible metal alloys, high grade plastics and modern ceramic materials, resulting in replacement hip joints that are long-lasting, strong, flexible and resistant to wear.
Mr Jennings is able to provide all the latest surgical techniques for repairing and replacing damaged hip joints, including total hip replacement, revision hip surgery, hip resurfacing and minimal incision hip replacement.
