Janos Fabula: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Ilford, Essex

Having completed his medical education at the University of Szeged, Hungary, in 1991, Mr. Janos Fabula initially served in the Department of Orthopaedics at the same university. His primary focus is on lower limb surgeries, encompassing procedures like hip and knee replacements, partial knee replacements, forefoot corrections, and other minor orthopedic surgeries.

 

Mr Fabula became part of the Practice Plus Group Hospital team in 2010. Over the years, he has authored a range of publications and abstracts while actively participating in seminars, society gatherings, and workshops across the UK and Europe. His specialization lies in the field of lower limb reconstructive surgery, including hip and knee replacements as well as unicondylar knee replacement surgery. His educational and professional timeline includes obtaining his General Medical Degree from Albert Szent-Gyorgy Medical School, Szeged University, Hungary, in 1991.

 

He underwent training in Orthopaedic and Trauma at the Hospital of Cannes, France, between 1995 and 1996. He also passed the Orthopaedics specialization exam at the National Board of Orthopaedics in Hungary in 1996. From 1991 to 2005, he was associated with the Department of Orthopaedics at Szeged University as an Orthopaedic Surgeon Trainee and later as an Associate Specialist.
