Keval Patel: Consultant Urologist in Birmingham
Mr Keval is a Consultant Urologist with a private practice at The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham. Fellowship trained in robotic pelvic surgery at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, he is proficient in investigating and treating cases of complex prostate cancer using robotic surgical techniques. His clinical interests cover a wide range of urological issues, including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, testicular lumps, urine flow problems, lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTs), recurrent urinary infections (UTIs), haematuria and haematospermia. An Honorary Senior Research Fellow, Mr Patel plays an active role in research and has made a significant contribution to the understanding and treatment of prostate and bladder cancer. He has secured charitable funding amounting to over £250,000 for research projects and his research has led to publications and presentations at international conferences and invitations to lecture on postgraduate courses.
