Peter Cooke: Consultant Urologist in Birmingham
Mr Peter Cooke is a leading urological surgeon and cancer specialist practising at The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham. Recognised as one of the UK’s top 20 prostate cancer surgeons, he has performed over 1000 robotic radical prostatectomies and serves as Clinical Lead in Urology for the Black Country and West Birmingham Integrated Care System. As well as prostate and bladder cancer treatments, Mr Cooke specialises in diagnostic urology, benign prostate and scrotal surgery. He established Midland Urology, an innovative private practice in collaboration with specialist colleagues in 2007. He is actively involved in research, publishing in international journals such as The Lancet, and presenting at national and international meetings. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the European Association of Urology and the American Urological Association.
