I was introduced to Mr Khan following an emergency visit to L&D's A&E department. In a very few moments I warmed to his pleasant and sympathetic bedside manner, which I felt was "uber " important at that moment. Following admission to the general ward and subsequently I found Mr Khan's kind manner very inspiring and uplifting. He quickly diagnosed my problem and fully explained what I could expect regarding ongoing treatment etc. responding promptly to my email questions following discharge. If my son, daughter, friend, colleague or even a passer- by in the street had a problem with their water works I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Khan as my first choice

I am in fact more than delighted with the result of the surgery you carried out, it has really been transformational for me, I even managed to drive to Heathrow and back last month with only one stop on my return! Mr Farooq Khan has provided me with examination, diagnosis, information and recommendation both in person and via mail/email. I found him to be very approachable, ready to explain in straight forward language without hint of condescendence, and clear with his recommendations. He attended a clinical procedure carried out his practice nurse to undertake further examination when I believe he could have just accepted the nurse's a report, he has willing provided me with further answers and information via email, and his clinic letters are lucid. At my request, he readily responded with unbiased opinion as to the prospects and management of my condition beyond his immediate speciality during the circumstances the Covid-19 pandemic. He displays a commitment to public health that convinces me that he is a man of integrity.

Excellent treatment from Mr Khan .The operation and recovery was less stressful than had been anticipated.

I have had the most wonderful treatment in all respects from Mr Khan. His speed of response to my problem was excellent and the quality of explanation and the treatment including two operations were handled with expert precision and due care and attention. He carried out the HoLEP procedure. His after-care attention and follow up was equally as good. Mr Khan explained all aspects of my condition, its treatment and associated operations with utmost care. I fully understood the situation with the knowledge he provided. The operations were carried out swiftly and provided the results that I needed. I continue to see Mr Khan for regular check-ups - typically every six months. I recommend Mr Khan for anyone who needs to see a consultant urologist.

Mr Khan couldn’t have been more helpful. He was kind, thoughtful and very informative. Myself, my wife and my daughters all felt completely at ease with him. We had the overriding impression that he was going to do his very best for us. This he did. Progress was quick and he handed us over to another surgeon to carry out the next procedure. He sorted the whole thing for us, I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Khan . Every aspect of my dealings with him , friendliness , explanations about my operation , professionalism with humour were exemplary . I had total confidence that I was in excellent hands and care and this proved to be the case . His care did not just restrict itself to myself but to my wife who was included at all stages . Once I had been diagnosed as requiring HoLEP surgery, and having been told that I would have to use a catheter until the surgery had been carried out, I decided that I would go for private treatment, so as to avoid the forecast 3 – 4 months wait for NHS treatment. As I had been one of Mr Khan’s NHS patients for 4 years, I was keen that he should carry out the surgery, at the Cobham Clinic at Luton & Dunstable Hospital. I had difficulty in trying to make an initial appointment, but once I was able to find Mr Khan’s email address I made contact with him directly. He responded immediately, and could not have been more helpful, or more accessible, in explaining the options that were open to me and then making the arrangements for the operation. I was very impressed with how quickly this happened – the surgery took place just 4 days after my initial contact with him. He was there to deal with my questions during the Pre-Op process, and made follow-up visits both on the evening after the surgery took place and the following day. In summary, although I was not happy with the way my initial enquiry was handled by the Cobham Clinic, once Mr Khan was involved the service I received was truly excellent.

The initial first consultation with Mr Khan was probably the best I have experienced with any medical professional. He was thorough, took time to explain at great length my condition and the procedure he advised. On the day of the surgery he was again so easy to talk to, he has a wonderful manner that puts you at ease whilst also making you feel without a doubt he is a total knowledgable, experienced professional. Every consultation and conversation I have had with Mr Khan has been as brilliant as the first and I would definitely only want any future procedures/treatments of this nature with him. I would without any hesitation recommend him.
