I am writing to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to the medical team under Mr Shergill. Following on from my recent biopsy and tests for prostate cancer, I came under the care of Mr Shergill and his team. As you can understand this was both a worrying and stressful time for me and my family, but the kindness and understanding shown to me by Mr Shergill immediately put me at ease. All medical results were described in a clear and concise manner and each question answered with the greatest of care. Any concerns I had regarding my biopsy were addressed and I could contact Dr Shergill anytime regarding such concerns or worries.

I want to tell you how very, very grateful I am for all the care and treatment you have given me over the past couple of months. When I came to see you, I really was in need of help and feeling quite desperate and you were so sympathetic and understanding I really did appreciate everything you did for me. Thank you for your letter received today. It was a great relief for me to learn that the MRI scan did not show signs of prostate cancer at the present time. I am very grateful for your reassurance about my condition. I also wish to thank you again for attending to me so promptly in the middle of the night on the 12th March to relieve my post-operation problem of urinary retention and for recommending the MRI scan. Further, I thank you for your continued interest and monitoring my condition until my discharge from hospital. I also very much appreciate that you have kept me fully informed of all matters affecting my health whilst under your care.
