An intensive care physician is a medical professional that specializes in the assessment, treatment and care of patients that are confined in an intensive care facility. He may be further trained in different specializations such as paediatric intensive care, geriatric intensive care and so on. He spends most of his time studying intently his patient’s condition and continuously improves his skills and knowledge in intensive care.
