In 2010, The Queen and HRH Duke of Edinburgh opened The London Clinic’s cancer centre, the Duchess of Devonshire Wing. In 2019, it received an overall score of 5 (excellent) in its first Quality Environment Mark by Macmillan Cancer Support, assessing the care and treatment of patients affected by cancer.
The London Clinic’s haematology facility – located in the cancer centre - is the largest stem cell collection centre in Europe. Working with charities including blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, over 700 stem cell donations are collected every year and safely stored until needed by patients around the world.
The London Clinic is renowned as having London’s leading private intensive care facility, able to support patients with complex and multiple conditions. Opened in 2016, the Intensive Care Unit has 13 individual patient rooms that have been designed by intensive care specialists, mixing the latest medical technologies alongside space and privacy for patients and their loved ones. Our Outreach Team of highly-skilled intensive care nurses monitor patients 24/7, and will only discharge someone once their health has fully stabilised. The service provides complete peace of mind.

You can pay all or part of your bill online at any time via The London Clinic's payment portal.
Once your consultant confirms the best treatment for you, we’ll provide you with a treatment plan. This sets out all the steps of your treatment and how much each procedure costs. Form any of our treatments, we offer all-inclusive packages that mean you’ll only ever pay one price that won’t change. So, if you require extra tests or procedures that weren’t part of your original treatment plan, you won’t have to pay any additional fees, the package takes care of it.
We have teamed up with Chrysalis Finance to offer you funding options that allow you to spread the cost of your treatment. If you choose to pay for your treatment at The London Clinic over 12 months, you can make use of a great 0% interest option and pay nothing extra. Or you can choose to pay over two to five years and pay interest at an annual percentage rate of 9.9%.
Patients with private medical insurance can also access our services, as The London Clinic has arrangements with all the main UK insurers, including Bupa and AXA PPP healthcare, plus many International providers, such as AETNA. The London Clinic has been treating patients from all over the world since 1932 and over 120,000 people from the Middle East, China, US, UK, and Europe visit the hospital every year. We have arrangements in place with many international embassies and companies, plus an onsite International Team to provide patients and their families with the very best support and care. For example, the International Team speaks to every patient prior to their admission, to check what support they require. This can range from ensuring access to interpreters, that their children have accommodation and schooling, that our chefs are aware of their cultural and religious needs for meals, or arranging a shopping trip for the patient’s family in nearby Oxford Street.
